Webtoon writer Joo Ho-min (40) confessed that his eldest son had autism.
On the 14th, Joo Ho-min posted a video titled’Night of Pearl Shining 21/03/13: The Story of Sunjae’ on his YouTube channel.
In the released video, Joo Ho-min said, “I have a story to tell. First (son) Seonjae has a developmental disability.
I have autism, so I can’t communicate well. I had to enter elementary school last year, but I wasn’t ready, so I entered this time, when I was 9 years old.”
“I moved to move often, and what I did was moved in line with the first thing. Knowing this will make all of my behavioral patterns understandable. “It’s because of that, I’m going home when there is a phone call from home during the broadcast, and I didn’t write a cartoon story myself from some point.
Joo Ho-min said, “(What I haven’t talked about until now) was that it was necessary to say it, and I was a little cautious to inform the unspecified majority. It could be accepted as a documentary, or could it be abused.”
He added, “I was thinking that I had to talk someday, but I thought a lot when I saw Oh Yoon-ah came out with a child with a developmental disability in an entertainment program. So, I’m going to tell the first story often.”

Meanwhile, Joo Ho-min, who debuted in 2005 with’Jam’, drew webtoons such as’Infinite Power’,’With God’, and’Bang Tang Furu’. In particular,’With God’ was also produced as a movie and was loved by over 10 million audiences. Joo Ho-min was married in 2010 and has two sons.
