Hiblox issues Clayton-based tokens (NFT) in the second half of this year

Hiblox, which operates social media curation platform’HABL’, is drawing attention by announcing that it will issue a Klay-based non-replaceable token (NFT) in the second half of this year.

With the concept of AppTech, where profits are shared with users, Habble pays a virtual asset heap (HIBS) as a reward for the amount of user activity in the app.

Through this NFT card issuance, Habble users will be able to prove and transfer ownership of digital content such as self-issued photos and videos, and space, a personal community within the app.

The NFT market is growing rapidly. According to the 2020 NFT market analysis report released by Nonfungible.com, the total number of active wallets that transact NFTs such as NFT purchases, sales, and holdings was 112,000 in 2019, but reached 22,179 in 2020. It has doubled. The total asset value of the currently issued NFT is also about $338 million (about 3,752,81.4 million won), an increase of 2.5 times compared to last year.

An official of Hi-Blox said, “Habble is currently operating based on the Clayton Blockchain of Ground X, and the services provided to ecosystem partners are gradually diversifying.” We plan to make the app available using various assets.”

Clayswap, a DeFi service of Ground X, a Kakao blockchain technology subsidiary, is operated only on a smart contract basis without a central operating entity, so anyone can provide free transaction liquidity. Transaction fees incurred by the Clay Swap platform can also be shared.

Meanwhile, Habble is currently undergoing a beta test, and as the number of subscribers is rapidly increasing, it is expected that many users will be able to use blockchain-based services.
