Single 3rd place jump

Reporter Kim Hee-joon = Goyang Orion, a professional basketball player, took the Seoul SK and climbed to third place alone.
Orion defeated SK’s fierce pursuit of the 2020-2021 Hyundai Mobis professional basketball SK, held at the Jamsil Student Gymnasium on the 4th, and won 81-79.
Orion, who won four consecutive victories against SK, won 24th (18 losses) and pushed Anyang KGC Ginseng Corporation (23-18) to fourth place and took the third place alone.
Orion took the lead by 21 points and was chased by 2 points at the end of the 4th quarter, but managed to overcome the chase and win.
It was Orion’s dominance both inside and outside. Orion surpassed SK, which scored 8 by exploding 13 3-point shots. In the rebound fight, he also took the lead with 38-28.
Heo Il-young scored 21 points, including 3 stores and 3 rooms. Han Hobin also added strength to the outskirts of Orion by adding 13 points, including 3 stores. Didric Lawson (13 points, 8 rebounds) and Lee Seung-hyun (10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists) also scored double digits.
With 17-25 losses, SK stayed in 8th place and moved one step further in the semifinal playoffs. The gap between the 6th place Incheon Electronic Land (21 wins and 21 losses) is four games.
In SK, Jamil Werney scored the most 34 points in both teams, but the team’s defeat was fading. In addition, Choi Seong-won (12 points and 7 assists) and Choi Boo-kyung (11 points and 6 rebounds) split with double-digit scoring.
In the first quarter, Ho-bin Han, Dae-sung Lee and Lawson at the end of the first quarter attempted seven three-point shots and succeeded in five shots, leading to 23-10.
Right after the start of the second quarter, Lee Seung-hyun scored five points in a row to widen the score further, and Orion took the lead by 21 points (35-14) in the middle of the second quarter with Lee Dae-sung’s three stores and Heo Il-young’s bottom shot.
SK’s two-point shot success rate in the first half was only 16.7% (three out of 18), and was dragged away without fail. After the middle of the second quarter, three stores, Nick Mineras, Choi Seong-won, and Ahn Young-joon, revived and finished the first half, catching up with 30-43.
At the beginning of the third quarter, Orion fled to 51-33 with three consecutive stores of Han Ho-bin and Heo Il-young, but SK also pulled the reins of the chase again. SK, which raised the momentum with Warney’s two-point shot and three-point play, narrowed the score gap to 43-51 with Kim Sun-hyung opening three stores.
However, Orion revived the momentum with Heo Il-young’s three stores, and Ho-Bin Han’s free throw and Devin Williams’ two-point shot successively broke the pursuit of SK when Kim Sun-hyung’s unsportsman-like foul (U-foul), and Heo Il-young’s three-store 61- Flee to 43.
SK’s pursuit was persistent. In the fourth quarter, SK, which narrowed the score little by little with Wonnie’s performance, pursued fiercely with Ahn Young-jun and Choi Bu-kyung’s continuous bottom shot and Choi Seong-won’s three points, and Warney’s four consecutive goals followed by 1 minute and 18 seconds before the end of the game 75- Caught up to 76.
But that was it. Lee Dae-sung burst into three stores and came out as Orion’s solution.
Orion, who took the lead by four points, gave Wonnie a two-point shot, but responded with Heo Il-young’s bottom shot. Orion, who was chased again by two points by dedicating a dunk shot to Wonnie, failed to score afterwards, but took the victory as SK could not take advantage of the opportunity to attack.
