In his New Year’s speech on the 4th, President Chae said, “We will continue to grow as a core company in the future by promptly responding to rapidly changing internal and external business environments such as the reorganization of the global market centered on eco-friendly energy, changes in long-term low oil prices and financial market liquidity, and the global declaration of carbon neutrality. “We have to lay the foundation for it,” he said.
President Chae said △ bold and preemptive investment in hydrogen business △ full-scale promotion of new energy business such as liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunkering and cold heat △ Achieving a carbon-neutral company in 2045 △ Digital-centered work method transformation and organizational innovation △ Realization of social values. Is presented as a key task to be promoted this year.
This year, KOGAS plans to expand B2C-centered LNG new business, starting with the establishment of a hydrogen business vision and strategy and establishment of the hydrogen business headquarters, and economical production and supply of hydrogen and the construction of a hydrogen-LNG convergence charging station.
In addition, the company decided to establish a foothold for future growth through the establishment of a dedicated organization for overseas green hydrogen production and introduction, investment in the hydrogen fueled electricity business, development of core hydrogen technologies (water electrolysis and liquefaction) and bold mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
In addition, the company is planning to implement eco-friendly sustainable management to become a company that achieves carbon neutrality in 2045 while striving to generate new profits by rapidly promoting the LNG bunkering/cooling and heating business and overseas GTP (Gas to Power Project) business.
President Chae said, “We will announce’KOGAS Vision 2030′ soon,” and said, “Let’s provide better value to the people and shareholders by sharing the new vision with all employees and working in unison.”
