[아시아경제 서소정 기자] The National Health Insurance Corporation (Chairman Kim Yong-ik) will start a’digital information delivery service’ in cooperation with Naver so that you can easily check the health insurance information service on mobile from the 12th.

The Corporation has sent various health insurance information and notice mails to all citizens at the address of the resident registration address or the address requested by the person in question, but paper mails that take a lot of time and money to print and send are directly sent to the subscriber due to address transfer or absence. There were problems such as discomfort that could not be delivered and personal information exposure due to loss.

Accordingly, the Corporation established an electronic document sending system using mobile last month through collaboration with Naver, a certified electronic document relay, in the field of electronic document service.

Starting from the 12th, the first stage of the’Infant and Infant Health Checkup’ guide, 37 types, will be sent, and the digital conversion will be expanded sequentially for a total of 715 types of paper mail including 219 types by December and 459 types in 2022.

About 35 million cases, including notices related to health check-ups sent from March to April, are planned to be sent in electronic documents instead of paper.

In the future, Naver will provide a service for sending health insurance information, such as checking the subject of health checkups, notification of changes in health insurance subscriber eligibility, and inquiring health insurance premiums and self-paid refunds, etc. It can be viewed as an electronic document.

In the case of e-documents with a fixed deadline, the Naver notification service was provided 3 hours before expiration and prepared to be able to read the e-documents through text message notification (MMS) of the mobile operator.

An official of the Health Insurance Corporation said, “We will continue to work so that the public can easily use mobile to access the electronic documents of the Corporation anytime, anywhere, and to provide information and notification of health insurance in a timely manner in line with the implementation of paperless administration and e-government.”
