When the government announced plans to expand medical school quotas and establish a new public medical school, medical students protested and refused to take the doctor’s national examination. Of the 3172 test subjects, only 423 took the test.
The government maintained its position not to give them a chance to retake, but recently reversed its position. On the 31st of last month, the Ministry of Health and Welfare prepared and announced a test plan to rescue 2700 medical students who collectively refused the national practical test.
The exams scheduled for the second half of next year are divided into the first and second half of the year, and are conducted twice.
