Hannam University recruits start-up companies to participate in the initial start-up package

22 companies selected by the 15th

[대학저널 오혜민 기자] The Hannam University Startup Support Group announced on the 7th that it will recruit startup companies participating in the ‘2021 Early Startup Package’ by the 15th.

A total of 22 excellent initial companies, including one green (eco-friendly) strategic field, can be applied to individuals and corporations within 3 years.

Hannam University was selected as the host company of the initial start-up package this year and received government support of about 2.1 billion won, and plans to discover and foster early start-up companies in the region. If selected for this project, you will be given up to 100 million won in commercialization funds required for prototype production and marketing, and opportunities to participate in specialized programs (technology certification and technology rightsization, marketing support, investment, market development program, expert mentoring, etc.).

In particular, startups with a platform worker’s win-win model, a win-win model with traditional industries, a sharing economy revitalization model, and a blockchain-based technology model can create synergies in commercialization by using the human and physical infrastructure and network possessed by Hannam University.

On the other hand, Hannam University has been conducting the initial start-up package (startup leading university promotion project) managed by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups since 2012, and has been selected as an’excellent host institution’ for two consecutive years in the 2020 performance evaluation.
