[오피니언뉴스=권상희 기자] Hana Financial Group recommended Hana Bank Vice President Park Seong-ho and Hana Financial Investment Representative Lee Eun-hyung and Hana Financial Investment Vice Chairman Lee Eun-hyung to recommend candidates for CEO of five major affiliates.

Hana Financial Group announced that it recommended CEO candidates of five major affiliates, including Hana Bank, Hana Financial Investment, Hana Card, Hana Capital, and Hana Savings Bank, at the Group Executive Candidate Recommendation Committee and Hana Bank Executive Nomination Committee held on the 25th.

At the group meeting held that day, multiple recommendations were made by Seong-ho Park, vice president of Hana Bank and Seung-yeol Lee, vice president of Hana Bank.

The Hana Bank Executive Candidate Recommendation Committee, held on the same day, recommended Park Sung-ho, current vice president of Hana Bank Digital Retail Group, as the sole candidate.

As a candidate for the new CEO of Hana Financial Investment, Eun-hyung Lee, the current vice chairman of Hana Financial Group, was recommended.

Candidate Sung-ho Park, who was recommended as the next CEO of Hana Bank, was born in 1964, graduated from the Department of Business Administration at Seoul National University, joined Hana Bank’s predecessor, Korea Investment Finance, and joined Hana Bank’s Indonesian subsidiary, vice president of Hana Bank’s Asset Management Group, and CEO of Hana Financial TI. After serving as president, he is currently serving as vice president of Hana Bank’s Digital Retail Group.

An official from Hana Financial said that Candidate Park said, “The best person who will inspire new vitality in the organization based on his abundant experience and excellent insight in the fields of digital, global, and asset management, which are becoming increasingly important in the rapidly changing financial market and the increasing economic uncertainty at home and abroad. ”

“In particular, Candidate Park is a prepared bank chief who served as CEO at Hana Bank Indonesia and Hana Financial TI. We expect that his experience as a CEO will play a big role in making Hana Bank a leading bank in the future.”

Candidate Eun-Hyung Lee, the next President of Hana Financial Investment, graduated from Korea University and obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from Jilin University in China, served as an advisor to Beijing University in China, and served as vice president of global strategy at Hana Financial Group in 2011. There is a bar.

Candidate Lee has been serving as the global vice-chairman of Hana Financial Group since last year, and is a global expert with extensive experience in academia and financial circles, a global mind fluent in five languages, extensive knowledge, and a broad global network.

Candidate Lee’s capabilities contribute to the expansion of Hana Financial Investment’s global business, and it was evaluated that Hana Financial Investment could lay the foundation for new growth in the global market beyond domestic competition.

On the other hand, Kyeong-hoon Jang, the current CEO of Hana Card, Gyu-sun Yoon, the current CEO of Hana Capital, and Hwa-kyung Oh, the current CEO of Hana Savings Bank were recommended as CEO candidates for each company based on their good business performance, allowing them to be reappointed.

The candidates for CEOs of major affiliates of Hana Financial Group are scheduled to be elected through the board of directors and regular shareholders’ meetings held next month.
