[스마트경제=복현명 기자] Hana Financial Group Chairman Kim Jeong-tae was inaugurated as the 14th Chairman of the Korea Women’s Professional Golf Association (KLPGA).
Chairman Kim was elected as the 14th president through the KLPGA regular general meeting held at Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 11th.
At the inauguration ceremony held immediately after the regular general meeting, he said, “I feel infinite glory and heavy responsibility at the same time as being a family of KLPGA.” I will do my best,” he said.
“KLPGA, which has been constantly developing, is an important time to leap beyond the domestic market to a true Asian golf hub and go out to the world,” he said. “We will focus on improving the global competitiveness of members and associations.”
After graduating from Kyungnam High School and Sungkyunkwan University, Kim Jung-tae, chairman of Hana Financial Group, joined Hana Bank in 1991, served as President of Hana Daetoo Securities (2006) and President of Hana Bank (2008), and has been leading Hana Financial Group from 2012 to the present.
Meanwhile, Hana Financial Group held the LPGA Tour Hana Bank Championship from 2006 to 2018, and is operating a golf club consisting of a total of 15 players, including 9 women and 6 men.
