Hana Finance appoints Young-ju Ham as Vice Chairman of ESG and Seong-gyu Ji as Vice Chairman of Digital

Hana Financial Holdings reorganized the holding company and established ESG and digital vice president positions to achieve the three strategies: eco-friendly, social, governance (ESG) and global platform.

On the 24th, Hana Financial Group announced that it created the position of ESG vice chairman to strengthen ESG management, appointed vice chairman Ham Young-ju, and newly established digital vice chairman position to lead platform finance, and appointed Hana Bank President Ji Sung-gyu.

The newly created ESG vice chairman will lead the overall ESG management of the holding company and affiliates. Hana Financial Group has established the’Sustainability Management Committee’ and the’Consumerarisk Management Committee’, which are ESG-related committees within the board of directors, and plans to finalize relevant agendas at the regular shareholders’ meeting held on the 26th.

The Digital Vice Chairman plans to take charge of both the’Group Digital General’ and’Group ICT General’ to speed up the platform finance.
