If the existing risk management group manages the risk of banks to maintain asset quality and secures an appropriate rate of return against risk, the newly established consumer risk management group will help to organize the optimal asset portfolio by managing the customer’s risk from the customer’s point of view. .

Group leader In-young Lee, elected as the head of the consumer risk management group, is a professional manpower recruited from outside. He served as a Bachelor of Law at Yonsei University and a Doctor of Law at Seoul National University, a senior attorney at Kim & Chang Law Office, and a Director at SC First Bank’s Retail Finance Legal Affairs Bureau.

The Consumer Protection Group has been expanded into two groups: the’Guest Happiness Group’ in charge of financial consumer protection and the Consumer Risk Management Group in charge of consumer risk management. All female executives are in charge of the group.

The management planning group, which was in charge of planning and budgeting for customer-first management support, and the management support group, which was in charge of personnel and business support, were integrated. Through this, the’Management Planning & Support Group’ was established, and the business was supervised by a group that added sales support functions by focusing on the sales field.

The’ESG Planning Section’, a department dedicated to ESG within the organization, has been added to the’Management Strategy Headquarters’ in the newly established Management Planning & Support Group. This is to reinforce the ESG management system and focus more on fulfilling the social role of finance through active ESG management practices.

In addition, the overall organization was reorganized into a unit-centered system. The center of the work system was transformed from the upper level organization to the team center, and the authority of the department head was handed over to the team leader, establishing a system in which practitioners could actively promote their work. The existing department decided to reduce its role and change it to a section, an organization that performs common support tasks.

The decision-making stage has also been simplified to’Unit leader-executive-top management’. It is planning to transform into a horizontal organization centered on rapid decision making, use of various ideas, and efficiency.

Meanwhile, this executive’s appointment was carried out with three principles: △ slimming the head office △ performance-oriented personnel △ finding executives with expertise.

First, the existing 18 groups, 1 research center, and 19 divisions (single) were reduced to 15 groups, 1 research centers, and 17 divisions (single) to make the headquarters slimmer. As part of the performance-oriented personnel, Seung-oh Park and Ji-hwan Park, head of CIB Group, were promoted from managing director to vice president, respectively, and Kim Ki-seok, head of Seocho Sales Headquarters, was promoted to executive director. Jeong Min-sik, head of Honam Sales Group and Gwangju Jeonnam Sales Headquarters, was also promoted to managing director.
