Jeon In-ji, 27, from Hampyeong Golf High School was ranked top 4 in the Diamond Resort Champions Tournament in the opening game of the 2021 season of the LPGA Tour.

In the final round of the tournament held at the Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club Orlando (par 71) in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, USA on the 25th (Korean time), Jeon In-jin hit 4 under par 67 with only 4 birdies without a look.

Jeonin-in, who recorded a final total of 17 under par 267, ended the tournament in fourth place alone.

With this, Jeon In-ji was ranked in the top four in one year and three months after being tied for fourth at the BMW Ladies Championship in October 2019.

In the first round, Jeon-in started the tournament with a tie for 10th by hitting 3 under par 68.

In the second round, he caught only 6 birdies without a look, and recorded 65 strokes at a 6-under par, and jumped to third place with a 9-under par 133 in total.

In the third round, he tied 5 buddies and 1 bogie, hitting a 4 under par 67, starting the 4th round with a total of 13 under par 200 strokes in the middle and fourth place alone.

In the 4th round, after catching a birdie in the 7th hole, 3 consecutive birdies in the 15th-17th holes, the tournament ended in 4th place alone, 7 strokes behind the lead.

Daniel Kang, a Korean-American, missed the championship after an extended battle. Daniel Kang, who played overtime with Jessica Coda (USA), hitting 3 under par 68 in the 4th round, with a final total of 24 under par 260, was pushed by Jessica Coda who caught the birdie by failing the birdie putt in the 1st extension.

Jessica Coda took the championship at the 18th hole after a 5-under par with Daniel Kang and after an extended game. Jessica Coda’s LPGA Tour victory has been three years since Honda’s LPGA Thailand in February 2018.

Nelly Coda (USA) was in third place alone, two strokes behind the lead. Heo Mi-jeong and Park Hee-young were tied for 22nd place with a final total of 3 under par 281 strokes.
