Broadcaster Ham So-won is known to have remarked that kimchi is’pao chai’, and controversy has even appeared in the Blue House national petition.

It is generally a cold response because it is a controversy that emerged amid controversy that some Chinese people recently complained that kimchi and hanbok originated in China.

On the 15th, a petition titled’I petition you to get off the broadcast of Mr. ***, who paid for kimchi’, was posted on the Blue House National Petition Bulletin.

Petitioner said, “There was a case where broadcaster A informed us that Kimchi was Pao Chai in a live broadcast, and viewers asked for correction.” “As the intellectual continued, the live broadcast was deleted, but there were many witnesses.”

Also, “A mother-in-law from abroad entered Korea in a country where the whole family could not gather even on holidays due to Corona 19, and lived on February 3, and in the process, Mr. A referred to Kimchi as’Pao Chai’ to her Chinese mother-in-law.

When the viewers criticized it, the video was deleted.”

After the petition was known, a number of articles were posted on an online community stating that “On February 3, I called kimchi as Pao Cha among Chinese si-mo and Hongeo Samhap food show in my live broadcast of diet tea sales.”

Currently, the related video has been deleted and cannot be viewed on YouTube, but more than 1,700 netizens agreed to the petition.

Netizens responded with mixed reactions such as “I’m sorry if that was the case”, “I have to be careful with words because it is a sensitive time”, and “Isn’t it possible to say that my husband is a Chinese person?”
