Semiconductor was selected as the most promising industry this year. 85% of all respondents chose the semiconductor industry as promising this year. The automobile (65%) and rechargeable battery (55%) industries took second and third places, respectively.
In particular, 15 people presented Samsung Electronics to the question of the three best Australians this year. Hyundai Motor Company ranked 2nd with 11 votes, and LG Chem (including LG Energy Solution) ranked 3rd with 5 votes.
Experts predict that the operating profit of listed companies this year will increase by more than 30% compared to last year. 50% of respondents expected a 30% or more increase in operating profit. 20% of the respondents said it would increase by more than 40%. It is predicted that the global economic recovery and semiconductor supercycle, including the extreme base effect, will lead to an increase in operating profit this year.
