The Volleyball Association has defied the qualifications of sisters Lee Jae-young and Lee Da-young as national representatives indefinitely.

Ahead of the Tokyo Olympics, the association said that although the loss of power was large, it was decided to “cut off a punishment for inappropriate behavior as a national player”, the association said.

His team, Heungkuk Life Insurance, also suspended the game indefinitely.

Heungkuk Life Insurance Club said, “The two players acknowledged and apologized for having been violent in school when they were in middle school.”

In addition, he added, “During the self-sufficiency period, the two players will have to make every effort to heal the victim’s wounds, such as meeting the victim in person and asking for forgiveness.”

Since Heungkuk Life Insurance has only 7 games left this season, it is unlikely that the two players will actually compete this season.

Currently, both players are known to have left their team quarters and are staying somewhere.

Earlier, on the 10th, an online community posted an article saying that two players were assaulted and abused during school days.

The two players acknowledged the abuse and posted a handwritten apology, but suspicions continue to be raised, including yesterday’s parents of students who were victims of school violence exposing the family members of Lee Jae-young and Da-young.

On the other hand, Song Myung-geun of OK Financial Group for men’s volleyball also admitted that he would not participate in the game in the future after acknowledging that he was exposed to school violence. As it comes up, the ripples seldom subside.
