The amphibious bus used on the Haeundae route passes through Park Hyatt Busan and is obtained from the yacht stadium by sea. After sailing to Suyeong Bridge 2, return to the yacht stadium and come out on land. The total running time is 60 to 70 minutes.
The city and private companies plan to operate the Suyeong River section of the entire Haeundae route from November this year. The Suyeong River section is a course that returns to Suyeong River-Haeundae Movie Street-Dongbaek Intersection-Haeundae Bridge-Gwangan Beach Road-Olympic Garden Intersection-Suyeong River.
Currently, it is difficult for amphibious buses to operate all routes in Haeundae. It is impossible to obtain an amphibious bus on the sea, which is the main route of the Haeundae route, as there is no permission to operate the sea section of the Haeundae route. The competent agency, Busan Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Administration (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries) is showing a position to watch the operation of amphibious buses for the time being due to the need to check the safety of the sea section.
Therefore, the city plans to run all sections of the Haeundae route in February and March next year after securing safety for the sea section by conducting a test operation in the future.
Meanwhile, the applicant must be a corporation or consortium with an office in Busan as of the date of announcement. Companies wishing to participate in the competition must submit a letter of intent to participate in the project by the 26th and participate in the business briefing on the 30th.
