Rep. Ha Tae-kyung, a member of the People’s Strength, asked the police to investigate the manufacturer and distributor of’Alpes’, which sexualized male idol groups.

On the 19th, Congressman Ha visited the Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul with former Supreme Commissioner Lee Jun-seok and submitted an investigation request for Alpes and Secte (Secstape) manufacturers and distributors.

On this day, Congressman Ha said on his Facebook page that he requested an investigation under the name of’Recently Things Research Institute’ about 110 manufacturers and distributors of Alpes sexual exploitation products (based on ID).

He added, “Alpes sexual exploitation includes novels, cartoons, sectors, and children’s and adolescents.” He added, “I will ask for further investigations later.”

RPS (Real Person Slash) is a fan fiction created by fans of real male idols or celebrities as the main characters and mainly deals with homosexuality. There are many inappropriate content, such as describing perverted sexual behavior.

In the past, it was consumed as a genre of’fanpic’ culture, but in recent years, controversy has been aggravated by targeting minor idol members or even profiting through Alpes.

Another controversial object,’Secte’, stands for’Sextape’ and is a kind of’Deep Voice’ file made by editing and processing the voice of a male idol singer.

The petition for’Alpes User Penalties’ posted on the Blue House National Petition Bulletin on the 11th received more than 200,000 consents within three days of publication. On the 14th, an article requesting punishment for the secte was posted, and 35,000 people agreed as of midnight on the 18th.

However, some point out that it is inappropriate to put Alpes, a fictional creation, in line with sexual exploitation. This explains that it is difficult to establish a sexual governance structure that leads to sexual exploitation or sexual objectification in reality.
