Gyeongnam Province announced on the 13th that after 5 pm on the 12th, the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) increased by 55 in the province.

By region, there are 45 Jinju, 6 Namhae, 2 Geoje, and 1 each in Changwon and Uiryeong.
By infection route, there were 40 people related to Jinju sauna, 6 people related to Namhae family and acquaintances, and 2 people related to Jinju and Sacheon family gatherings.
In addition, 1 person each related to the contact and metropolitan area of the confirmed patients in the metropolitan area, and 3 confirmed patients whose path of infection is not clear.
There were 40 additional confirmed cases related to the’Paros Health Sauna’ in Daesang-dong, Jinju-si, where group infections are continuing.
As a result of testing 1,600 people, including the first confirmed patients, a cumulative 132 people have been confirmed. 1,87 were negative and 381 were being tested.
The number of confirmed cases related to Jinju-Sacheon family gatherings increased by 2 to 16.
In Namhae, the number of confirmed cases related to family and acquaintances increased by 6, and a cumulative 12 was positive.
One confirmed person in Geoje and one confirmed in Uiryeong are foreign immigrants.
The cumulative number of confirmed cases in the province increased to 2,356 (207 hospitalized, 2,137 discharged, and 12 deaths).
Gyeongnam-do is reinforcing quarantine regulations in relation to the situation in which confirmed patients appear one after another in public baths.
It mandated public bath users to check for fever and corona 19 symptoms, and strongly recommended the use of electronic access lists.
Gyeongnam Province explained that the bathing facilities are inevitably operated because there are not enough bathing facilities or there are residents who need it.
In Gyeongnam, according to the decision of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters the previous day, the 1.5 steps of social distancing will be extended for two weeks until the 28th.
The hours of operation of entertainment facilities are canceled in consideration of equity with other industries.
