Gyeongnam Province announced on the 10th that in November last year when the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) was spreading, Jinju Lee and bankbooks ignored the province’s guidelines and conducted a training program in Jeju, resulting in a group infection.

The province added that the government issued an’institutional warning’ in Jinju City, decided on group training with the bankbook, and informed the three officials who accompanied them with severe disciplinary action, and two others.

On that day, the province announced the results of the inspection conducted after the outbreak of group infections related to Jinju Lee and Bankbooks, and said that Jinju City had disregarded the Do’s guidelines for refraining from group travel with Lee and bankbooks. In addition, he explained that even though the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters warned that the number of confirmed cases in Korea would increase a lot, they had conducted group training with subsidies.

Moreover, the city of Jinju established its own guidelines to conduct e-bankbook training within the region, and notified the eups, myeons, and dongs, and decided on Jeju Island as a training location for the e-bankbook council. In addition, Gyeongnam-do pointed out that the province’s request for refraining from group training was not spread to eups, myeons, and dongs, so I went to Jeju training in Seongbuk-dong without knowing this.

In particular, a guided public official accompanied the Jeju training participants for quarantine management, but some of the bankbooks and bankbooks did not control even though they performed individual activities, such as visiting entertainment establishments from the first day of their arrival in Jeju. It was found that even after the Jeju training, guidance on quarantine measures, such as conducting diagnostic tests for corona symptoms, was also neglected.

Earlier, 83 confirmed cases occurred from the end of November to December 15 last year in connection with the training in Jeju with Lee and Bankbook in Jinju City.

The Gyeongnam-do Audit Committee said, “Pearl’E-bankbook group training’, 83 confirmed cases of Corona 19 occurred until 0 o’clock on December 15 last year, so enormous medical expenses were required for hospitalization and treatment, and diagnostic test expenses for 2,400 close contacts 1 It has caused tremendous direct and indirect damage, including 50 million won, the closure of administrative agencies, and damage to small businessmen due to the 2nd stage of social distancing.”
