According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 8th, the number of new confirmed cases in Gyeongbuk region as of 0 o’clock on the day is 30 (including 2 from overseas). By region, there were 9 people in Gumi, 8 people in Pohang, 3 people each in Gyeongju and Gimcheon, 2 people each in Sangju and Chilgok, and 1 each in Yeongju, Gyeongsan, and Cheongdo. The remaining newly confirmed cases in Gyeongbuk were investigated as contacts of the existing confirmed cases.
On the other hand, among the 18 newly confirmed diagnoses in Daegu, two related to the church in Dong-gu, one related to the church in Suseong-gu, and one related to a medical institution in Dalseo-gu. One person entering the country from Nigeria is a case of overseas inflow. The rest were classified as contacts with unknown infection routes or existing confirmed cases.
