According to the Korea Expressway Corporation, a total of 3.85 million vehicles used on highways nationwide on this day are expected. It is estimated that 320,000 vehicles heading from the metropolitan area to the provinces, and 390,000 cars going from the provinces to the metropolitan area.

Unlike the relatively smooth return road, the Korea Highway Corporation predicted that traffic would be congested on the return road. The way home from Seoul to the provinces is most crowded at noon to 1 pm, and it is expected to be resolved around 8 pm. On the other hand, the congestion on the way to Seoul starts at 10-11am, peaks around 5-6pm, and is expected to resolve until around 10pm and midnight if late.

As of 10 a.m. on that day, the estimated time it takes to reach major cities across the country from the Seoul Tollgate is △4:40 in Busan △3 hours in Daegu △3 hours 50 minutes in Mokpo △3 hours in Gwangju △1 hour in Daejeon 40 minutes △ Gangneung 2 hours and 50 minutes.

At the same time, the estimated time from major cities across the country to Seoul is △ 5 hours and 10 minutes in Busan △ 4 hours in Daegu △ 4 hours 10 minutes in Mokpo △ 3 hours 20 minutes in Gwangju △ 1 hour 40 minutes in Daejeon △ 2 hours 40 minutes in Gangneung.
