They were investigated as being’n-th infection’ from confirmed patients related to Gwangju TCS International School.

No. 1647 is a member of Gwangmyeong Seohyeon Church and is associated with Tikhun TCS International School. There are a total of 4 students from Tikkun TCS, who were educated at TCS International School.

Nos. 1649~1651 and Nos. 1657~1658 are families or acquaintances of TCS confirmed patients.

The city of Gwangju conducted a corona19 test on 135 people related to Gwangju TCS International School the day before, confirming that 109 of them were infected. The confirmed cases were 77 students, 25 teachers, and 7 members.

The six people added on this day were newly identified during an epidemiological investigation on the family of the confirmed patient.

The quarantine authorities believe that these are’n-th infections’ that are not directly related to Gwangju TCS International School.

Accordingly, the number of confirmed cases from TCS International School in Gwangju increased to 115, but the first source of infection has not yet been identified.

Gwangju TCS International School is an unlicensed educational facility operated to train missionaries as an organization related to the International Mission (IM) mission where group infection occurred recently.

IM Mission, which operates TCS International School, was established in 2010 and has branches and international schools nationwide.

Gwangsan-gu TCS International School is located in a four-story building. The first floor of the building is the Presbyterian Church, and the fourth floor is a lodging facility, and the health authorities believe that the entire building is used by TCS International School.

The second floor of the educational facility where 109 confirmed cases were originally occurred is divided into six rooms, and the third floor is in the form of an auditorium.
