Gwangju Metropolitan City and Gwangju Free Economic Zone Authority decided to actively foster the AI-based future automobile industry in Gwangju Bitgreen Industrial Complex in cooperation with AVL Korea, a global R&D company specializing in automotive engineering services and powertrain.

In the afternoon of the 25th, Gwangju City and the Free Economic Zone Authority, Mayor Yong-seop Yong-seop, Gwangju Free Economic Zone Commissioner Kim Jin-cheol, and CEO Kim Jin-hyung, Korea AVL Co., Ltd., attended the business room at City Hall on the afternoon of the 25th. AVL was established in Austria in 1948 and operates 45 branches in 26 countries around the world, including Germany, Japan, Korea, France, USA, India, UK, China, Sweden, Turkey and Brazil. As a technology leader, it provides leading technology, solutions and services suitable for future mobility needs to automakers and parts companies around the world. In Korea, 130 employees are employed in business sites such as Seoul, Incheon, Ansan, and Changwon.

Through a business agreement, AVL plans to focus on fostering the future automobile industry of the Bit Green Industrial Complex through the role of future automobile technology and technology partners.
