It is located at Gwangcheon Intersection in Gwangju.

I’m here from 5:30 a.m., and it’s snowing and then stopping repeatedly, and now I’m showing a lull.

I’ve accumulated quite a lot of snow overnight, but I’ll measure how much snow has come with this 15cm ruler I’m holding.

You can see that about 3 cm of snow has accumulated.

On the road where snow removal is currently taking place, the roads are frozen everywhere, and the cars are running slower than usual with black ice.

Currently, a heavy snow warning has been issued in 16 cities and counties in Jeollanam-do, Gwangju, including Gwangju, Naju, and Yeonggwang.

In the snow, Jangseong 7.5cm was the highest, and Damyang 7.0, Gwangju 5.9, and Gokseong 4.6cm were piled up.

The Meteorological Administration predicted that there will be another 3 to 8 cm of snow by daytime tomorrow.

Along with the snow, the temperature dropped.

This morning, the temperature will be 2 to 3 degrees lower than yesterday, ranging from -8 to -5 degrees, including -5 degrees below zero in Gwangju and 7 degrees below zero in Damyang and Gurye.

The maximum temperature in the daytime ranges from -3 degrees to -1 degrees, so most regions will stay in the sub-zero range all day.

Currently, a strong wind warning has been issued to Chomundo Island and 16 cities and counties in Jeollanam-do, and 46 out of 56 passenger ship routes in the Jeonnam region are under control.

The strong wind warning and heavy snow warning are expected to be lifted in the afternoon and tomorrow morning, respectively, and the cold will gradually ease from Friday afternoon.
