Although known as the maternal grandmother of a 3-year-old girl who died in Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Mr. A, who was found to be his mother as a result of DNA testing, is being escorted from the Gumi Police Station to the Daegu District Prosecutor’s Office on the 17th. News 1

The specific process of the abandonment attempt is revealed one after another as the circumstances of the attempt to abandon the body immediately after the discovery of the body by the mother A (48) of a 3-year-old girl found dead in Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

According to the Gumi Police Department, A visited a house where his daughter B (22) moved while living and found that a 3-year-old girl died on the 9th of last month. This is the day before the report was filed with the police. Mr. B was living on the upper floor of the villa with Mr. A.

It was found that Mr. A called Mr. B immediately after finding the body and informed him of this fact without reporting to the police. Mr. A said he would remove the body on the phone with Mr. B, and it was investigated that he actually got consent from Mr. B. Earlier, Mr. B was under investigation after being arrested on charges of murder and child abuse last month apart from Mr. A’s investigation.

However, it did not lead to abandonment of the actual body. Mr. A said in a police investigation that he tried to put the body in a box and move it somewhere, but suddenly there was a loud sound of the wind, feeling fear and putting the body back in place. After giving up the abandonment of the body, A notified her husband of the discovery of the body on the 10th the next day and reported it to the police.

This fact was revealed in the course of the police arresting and investigating Mr. A. Mr. A admitted to the circumstances in which the deceased child attempted to abandon the deceased child while denying the results of the DNA test, the police said. On the 17th, the police sent Mr. A to the prosecutor’s office on charges of theft and attempts to abandon the body of a minor.

The investigation to find the father of a child who died was not successful. The police conducted DNA tests on many of the men who communicated with Mr. A. Among them, a courier is also included.

A police official said, “A DNA test was conducted on men who communicated with Mr. A three years ago, when Mr. A gave birth to a child who died. All DNA tests were conducted with the consent of the parties.”

The Daegu District Prosecutor’s Office, who took over the case, also called Mr. A to investigate, but it is said that Mr. A is still sticking to the existing claim of “the DNA test is wrong” and “I have never had a daughter.” Even in the process of being transferred from the Gumi Police Station to the Daegu District Prosecutor’s Office, he told reporters that he could not accept the DNA test results and said, “It’s unfortunate.”

Major suspicions, such as what Mr. A did after replacing the girl, whether he had an accomplice, and why Mr. A denied the results of the DNA test, are still lingering.
