The solution was found by a programmer using the nickname t0st on the source code sharing site Github. According to what he posted on his blog on February 28th, the issue was caused by a single-threaded CPU bottleneck during the launch of GTA Online, which could be resolved in less than a day by one developer. did.

In response, Rockstar said, “Investigation has confirmed that a user named t0st has found a way to improve the GTA Online PC version in relation to the loading time.” However, it did not say when the changes were applied, or whether the loading time would actually be reduced by 70%.
