GS Caltex, a women’s professional volleyball player, went in pursuit of the lead with a victory against IBK Industrial Bank, who was missing the opponent’s setter Cho Songhwa.
GS Caltex won the 3-1 (25-17 23-25 25-9 25-19) match against IBK in the 4th round of the 2020-21 Dodram V-League women’s division held at the Hwaseong Indoor Gymnasium in Gyeonggi-do on the 30th.
Second place GS Caltex (28 points, 10 wins and 6 losses), which won the first game in the second half, narrowed the gap with the leader Heungkuk Life Insurance (35 points, 12 wins and 3 losses). IBK maintained third place (24 points and 8-8 losses).
In GS Caltex, Meretta Lutz led the attack with 29 points, and Kang So-bright also added strength with 17 points. GS Caltex overpowered the opponent with a blocking number of 13-3.
