In particular, the outbreak of confirmed cases centered on sports facilities, restaurants, churches, nursing hospitals, and workplaces in various regions of the country, such as a group infection in the community center in Daejeon, continued. As of 0 o’clock on the 7th, there were 326 confirmed cases in the metropolitan area, 265 (81.3%) in the metropolitan area, and 61 (18.7%) in the non-metropolitan area.

Infections related to livestock companies in Eumseong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do increased by two during the follow-up management of contacts. The cumulative confirmed number is a total of 19, classified into 15 workers and 4 family members.

The number of infections related to workplace 2 in Gyeongsan-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do was found to have increased by 4 during the contact investigation after the first confirmed case on February 5th.

At a nursing facility in Suyeong-gu, Busan, six additional people were confirmed during the investigation of the contact after the first confirmed case occurred on January 29. In addition, at a nursing facility in Haeundae-gu, after the first confirmed case occurred on February 4, four additional people were confirmed during the investigation of the contact. The cumulative confirmed number is a total of 5 including 2 workers.

At the rehabilitation hospital in Jung-gu, Busan, five additional people were confirmed during the follow-up management of contacts since February 5. The cumulative confirmed number was 23, including 5 workers, 7 patients, 3 caregivers, 4 family members, and 4 others.

In Jeju City, one additional confirmed case occurred in a family-centered group infection. There were a total of 9 cases, including 6 family members including indicator patients and 3 other confirmed cases.
