Group infection at IEM International School results in’ignoring quarantine rules’… Group life in a 3-mild environment

It is pointed out that the group of 127 confirmed cases of novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) occurred at IEM International School in Daejeon was the result of thorough ignoring the quarantine regulations. Between the 15th, he entered the dormitory on the 3rd to 5th floors of the IM Mission Building in Daeheung-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon. It was found that as few as 7 people were assigned to each dormitory room, and as many as 20 people lived together. There were no partitions for seats in the basement dining room, and some floors shared showers and toilets. It is an analysis that a large number of people lived in a group life in 3 dense (closed, closed, close) conditions, which led to the worst situation. Moreover, even though the first symptom occurred on the 12th, there was no preemptive examination by the school. There was no action until the two students who went to the house in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do and Pohang, Gyeongbuk were confirmed on the 24th. The city of Daejeon and the quarantine authorities will investigate whether or not quarantine rules are violated, such as face-to-face worship and distancing within the facility, and take measures according to the law. We are investigating the possibility that an asymptomatic infected person admitted to other students and spread the virus to other students and five school staff who commuted to work. The IEM International School was closed for three weeks. In addition to the IEM International School, the IM Mission was conducted nationwide, including TCS and CAS. Daejeon City has received contact information for representatives of these facilities from the Mission and submitted them to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters (companion), and each city/province is planning to take measures such as additional inspections.
