A report was filed by the police that the inside of the women’s sauna at the Grand Chosun Jeju Hotel, a 5-star hotel in Seogwipo City, Jeju, was seen from the outside.

According to the Seogwipo Police Station on the 16th, a report was received on the 13th that there is a concern that the user’s naked body may be exposed as the interior of the female sauna and toilet in the Grand Chosun Hotel suite is visible from the outside.

The reporter reportedly used the sauna and toilet in the hotel suite on the 11th and 12th.

The police are checking whether the inside of the sauna is exposed to the outside through hotel CCTV, etc., and whether anyone has witnessed it when exposed.

On the 15th, on a portal site, a post titled “I was exposed naked in a sauna at a 5-star hotel in Jeju” was posted.

The author said, “For two days on my honeymoon, I stayed in a new five-star hotel suite in Jeju, and I used the swimming pool and shower facility for the suite room.” He said, “The glass windows of the hotel’s sauna are covered with a barrier coating, so the inside is not visible from the outside, and from the inside, I thought it was possible to enjoy a sauna while looking at a small car outside.”

The author said, “While taking a walk on the last day of my stay, when I looked at the window on the side of the sauna, I realized that I could see the thermometer inside the sauna from the outside. “When I contacted the hotel, I answered that the interior was not visible during the day and the blinds were lowered in the evening, but the blinds have never been lowered at the time I used,” he pointed out.

The author emphasized, “I paid more than 800,000 won per night and were convicted of taking a shower naked in front of others,” he said. “The hotel did not announce this, so other users do not even know about the damage.”

Grand Chosun Jeju issued an admission statement on the day and said, “The part that was incomplete because it was not possible to lower the blinds in some spaces in the sauna due to operational errors was identified.” He explained, “As a result of conducting a thorough investigation with the customer and checking CCTV through an investigation with the police, it was confirmed that there was no exposure damage that was concerned.”
