The National Health Insurance Corporation announced on the 10th that it will start the’digital information and notice service’ that allows you to check health insurance information on mobile devices from the 12th.
In the future, users will be able to view information such as confirmation of health checkup targets and notification of changes in health insurance subscriber eligibility on their mobile devices if they go through the verification process through Naver Certificate.
In addition, for documents with a fixed deadline, you can receive a notification service before expiration. The electronic documents viewed are registered with the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), and the legal effect of registration is guaranteed.
The service is first implemented for 37 types of documents, such as information on health checkup slips for infants and young children and information on changes in eligibility for local subscribers.
After expanding it to 219 this year, it plans to provide services by completing digital conversion for a total of 715 documents by next year.
The Health Insurance Corporation explained that it established an electronic document delivery system last month in cooperation with Naver in order to save the cost and time incurred by sending paper mail and to compensate for problems such as personal information exposure.
The Health Insurance Service expects that the service will not only allow you to conveniently receive notices and bills anytime, anywhere, but also create eco-friendly values.
An official from the Health Insurance Corporation said, “The interest and active participation of the public is the most important for the’digital information/notification sending service’ of electronic documents that are sent to mobile devices,” he said.
