Former President Park was hospitalized at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital for shoulder surgery in 2019 for more than two months, and has been receiving regular outpatient treatment since. Former President Park, who was classified as a close contact and undergoing quarantine treatment, was removed from the quarantine measures for two weeks on the last two days after a negative test was made again. Afterwards, it was decided to return on the 9th through review of the medical staff. In the Seoul detention center, where former President Park is imprisoned, after the confirmed deaths of Corona 19 at the end of last year were confirmed, four employees and four prisoners were confirmed last month. On the other hand, former President Lee Myung-bak, who was imprisoned in the Seoul Eastern Detention Center, has been delayed after being transferred to Seoul National University Hospital for diabetes treatment on December 21 last year.
