Amidst the discussions on the introduction of a special inspection system (special prosecutor) in relation to the allegations of speculation in the new city of Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) employees in the political sphere, the head of the government joint special deputy headquarters (special edition) in charge of the investigation said, “The police noodle copy. This is a suitable investigative body.” Special Headquarters Nam Goo-jun met with reporters at the Seodaemun-gu Police Office in Seoul on the morning of the 18th and said, “(The National Police Agency) is the nation’s largest investigative agency with more than 30,000 people, and has accumulated enough investigation experience and know-how. In a typical situation, I am convinced that the noodle version with a national investigation system is a suitable investigative body.” Regarding the recent suspicion of real estate speculation, it is a remark that is conscious of the introduction and composition of special prosecutors from the politics, and is interpreted as a remark to dismiss doubts about the police investigation. Headquarters Nam said, “(Previously) most of the police’s role was in the investigation of new towns in the first and second periods, but since it is a nationwide investigation, I think there will be a limit in terms of the existing special prosecutors. I think it is more efficient, and I will prove the reason for the existence of the noodles by punishing all illegal activities regardless of status.” However, if a special prosecutor is organized in accordance with the discussion of the National Assembly, he expressed the position that he would “cooperate as much as possible.” As of 9 am on the 17th, the special edition is conducting internal investigations and investigations on 198 people who were involved in 37 cases related to alleged real estate speculation. A police official said, “4 cases were accused, 4 cases were requested for investigation, and 24 cases were recognized by the police themselves, a total of 37 cases, of which 16 were reported as cases related to the 3rd new city and are being investigated.” “Analysis of confiscation and summons of suspects , Plans to expedite further seizure and search,” he said. It is known that among the 198 police officers under investigation and investigation, public officials, employees of public institutions, and general citizens were included. Responding to the criticism that some of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport had delayed the seizure and search, the police replied, “We are trying to prevent human rights violations as we proceeded normally according to legal procedures.” The special edition, which received 243 reports from the 15th through the’Report Center’ on the 17th (as of 9pm), is working to confirm the credibility of about 50 reports.
