Former Minister of SMEs and Startups Park Young-sun announced the start of a political move ahead of the Seoul Mayor’s by-election (April 7). After giving up the post of minister, on the 23rd, when he started the first public schedule with the party, he gave the meaning of “stopping, beginning of movement”. In the end, the pause did not last more than two days. “The first reunion with Candidate Sang-ho Woo with the party representative. Kongdang Kongdang Kongdang My heart beats,” he wrote. This morning, Nak-yeon Lee, Democratic Party Representative, and Rep. Sang-ho Woo, who declared a run for the Seoul Mayor by-election, made a statement before visiting Seoul Namdaemun Mayor. Former Minister Park wrote on Facebook that the Mayor of Namdaemun, the place he visited, was “the place where the President enlisted and visited the president to encourage small businessmen during the first coronavirus outbreak in February of last year” and “the place where the Good Renters Movement began”. Former Minister Park expressed his appreciation for the ministerial position on the 20th to run for the Seoul Mayor by-election. As President Moon accepted his appreciation, former Minister Park was able to enter election preparations without serving as minister until his successor, Candidate Chil-seung Kwon, was officially appointed through a personnel hearing. Former Minister Park is scheduled to officially declare his run before the 27th, when the Democratic Party’s preliminary candidate registration begins. The Democratic Party’s candidate for the Seoul Mayor’s by-election was compressed by rivalry between Rep. Sang-ho Woo and former Minister Park. Rep.
