As the probability of accidents increases due to the rapid increase in gas usage during the holidays, a publicity campaign was conducted for citizens using terminals on the tips for preventing CO poisoning accidents and safe use of portable gas stoves, which are directly linked to the accident.

Lee Moon-ho, head of the Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters of Gas Safety Corporation, said, “Our headquarters is making various efforts to secure the safety of citizens by conducting joint inspections with local governments on traditional markets and public terminals in the building to prevent gas accidents during the Lunar New Year holidays. We will do our best to spread a safety culture by inducing citizens’ interest in gas safety through intensive publicity as well as facility safety.”
