By reorganizing the organizational structure so that it can play a key role in line with the national energy transition, it will not only expand the business area of ​​gas corporations in the future energy industry, but also meet government policies, and demonstrate the will to supply energy safely and stably from natural gas to hydrogen to the public I put it.

KOGAS will establish a hydrogen business headquarters to promote drastic investment for economical hydrogen production and supply.

Based on the experience and confidence that has led the natural gas industry for the past 38 years, we have established an organization for active investment, such as establishing a base hydrogen production base, producing and introducing overseas green hydrogen, and establishing a hydrogen fusion charging station to establish an introduction, production, supply and distribution system. Aur plans to lay the groundwork for building a value chain for the entire hydrogen industry.

In order to build the national hydrogen economy base, KOGAS established a hydrogen distribution center with the hydrogen business headquarters, developed a hydrogen distribution system, and established a fair hydrogen distribution market for conversion to a hydrogen society. It plans to contribute to creating an economic environment.

In addition, in order to secure core hydrogen technology and carbon-neutral technology with the aim of becoming a global leading company in the hydrogen industry, we focus on securing technology in the turbulent global market by acquiring core technologies from outside through the establishment of the M&A department as well as our own research and technology development. do.

KOGAS has regularly organized the Convergence Business Division of the New Growth Business Headquarters to establish an ASEAN Vietnam office for the GTP business, a natural gas production base and power plant export business, and is conducting negotiations with various countries such as Vietnam and Thailand. Through this, it is expected to be an opportunity to expand the natural gas supply chain from Korea to overseas by entering the convergence business that simultaneously promotes natural gas and power generation business.

In addition, it plans to further strengthen its position in the natural gas business by expanding investment in new business fields such as LNG cooling and heating and bunkering businesses, and expanding its business portfolio by diversifying the LNG market.

In addition, to respond to the post-corona era and actively promote digital transformation, the Digital New Dealer was established. By implementing the Korean version of the Digital New Deal, the company plans to actively comply with government policies, establish a digital organizational culture such as a network platform for digitalization of KOGAS, IoT, and big data, and promote digital-based operational efficiency throughout management.
