Gangnam-gu, Seoul, announced on the 6th that it had closed the entertainment business where the confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) occurred for two weeks.

According to the Gu, two workers were tested positive for Corona 19 at the entertainment establishments (Impact, Opening) on ​​the 1st and 2nd basement levels of Donggung Building (9 Teheran-ro 20-gil) in Yeoksam-dong. Gu immediately sterilized the business and closed it for two weeks.

The former official said, “From February 22nd to March 5th, visitors to the business must be tested at the nearest temporary screening test center or public health center.”

“The Gangnam-gu Office will strictly respond to businesses that circumvent the enforcement network until dawn or violate the quarantine rules with the principle of zero tolerance according to the infectious disease prevention method,” he emphasized.

On the other hand, Gu announced that there were 7 confirmed cases (1340~1346) from the afternoon of the previous day to this day.

Of the confirmed cases, three were confirmed residents’ families, and one was confirmed to have been in contact with a confirmed case in another area.

The remaining three were confirmed with symptoms such as coughing, but the route of infection was unknown, so an epidemiological investigation is underway.
