A new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) group infection from a door-to-door vendor in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, which used to live in a camp in Ganghwa-do, Incheon, is spreading nationwide.

According to Ganghwa-gun, Incheon on the 28th, the number of corona19 confirmed cases related to a door-to-door sales company of sterilization water purifiers in Gwanak-gu, who lived in a camp in Gilsang-myeon, Ganghwa-gun, and a nearby shopping mall building, increased to 51 as of the morning of the day. It has been four days since the first confirmed person infected after contacting a confirmed patient in Seoul on the 25th.

Of the confirmed cases, 25 were tested and confirmed in Seoul, 14 in Ganghwa-gun, and 15 in Gyeonggi. In addition, Incheon city, Gwangju city, Gangwon, and Gyeongbuk each received one positive test.

The quarantine authorities confirmed that they lived in camps in the process of tracking the movement of two confirmed patients in Ganghwa-gun and three confirmed in Gwanak-gu. Ganghwa-gun reported that only 58 people were in contact with the confirmed patients at the closed school facility, and ordered an administrative order to be tested by all facility personnel. Of the 58, 7 were negative (6) or in progress (1) except for the confirmed case.

Ganghwa-gun accused the Ganghwa Police Department of violating the Act on Prevention and Management of Infectious Diseases against three confirmed patients who caused confusion in quarantine through false statements regarding the route of travel. In addition, he requested the local public health center to accuse one confirmed case in Gwanak-gu on the same charges. Ganghwa-gun is also reviewing a plan to accuse the Ganghwa Education Support Office, an institution that manages closed schools, for neglect of management.

The door-to-door sales company where the COVID-19 outbreak occurred is a water purifier-related company with an office in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, and it has been revealed that the closed school facility has been unauthorized since 2015 under the name of’Haeoreum International Education and Cultural Center’. It is known that the closed school facility is surrounded by barbed wire and the usual religious activities, such as the sound of hymns, were carried out.

Initially, the’Hanbit Tourism Training Center’ signed a loan contract with the Ganghwa Education Support Office in 2002 and used the closed school facility. This group occupied the school without permission after the contract was terminated for reasons such as non-payment of loan payments in 2012, but left the school facility in 2015, and the Haeoreum International Education and Cultural Center has since entered and used it without permission. The Ganghwa Education Support Office filed a lawsuit against unauthorized occupants in 2014 and a lawsuit for returning unfair gains against unauthorized occupants, and attempted enforced execution in 2017, but it is reported that it was canceled due to the reason that the unauthorized occupants were changed.

On the 27th, a closed school facility in Gilsang-myeon, Ganghwa-gun, Incheon, was closed due to the outbreak of a new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) confirmed group. News 1
