Thirty years ago, a new game studio, founded by a handful of software developers, began a journey to create the games they wanted to play. Among the works presented to the world, the earliest works were The Lost Vikings®, Rock N Roll Racing®, and Blackthorne®, which garnered favorable reviews from the critics and later reborn as Blizzard Entertainment. Today, Blizzard is introducing the Blizzard® Arcade Collection, which includes hits from the past, to be digitally updated for the latest platforms such as Windows® PC*.
The Windows PC version of the Blizzard Arcade Collection is part of the Commemorative Collection, a bundle containing items from several Blizzard games, launched earlier this month to mark the 30th anniversary of Blizzard’s founding. The games included in the Blizzard Arcade Collection are available in the Original Edition and a more upgraded Final Edition (Definitive Edition, see below for details), each version with custom hotkey settings and up to 10 seconds of rewinding time.
