Nursery teachers at Incheon Korean public daycare centers who are accused of habitually abusing daycare students were arrested. On the 15th, the deputy judge in charge of the warrant of the Incheon District Court, Lee Won-joong, issued an arrest warrant for Mr. A (in his 20s) and Mr. B (in his 30s) who were charged with violating the Special Act on the punishment of child abuse crimes. .

Mr. A and others appeared at the Incheon District Court where the interrogation of the suspect before arrest (warrant substantive examination) was held at around 1:50 pm on the same day. Mr. A, who wore a black hat and a gray hoodie hat, did not respond to the reporter’s question, “Do you admit the charges?” Even when asked, “Aren’t you sorry for the children?” Mr. B, who then entered the courthouse, did not answer the question.

On this day, the parents of the victims held a meeting near the Incheon District Law and urged the childcare teachers to punish them. According to the mother of one victim, Mr. B visited the victim’s house in the early morning of the day ahead of the warrant examination, saying, “After today, there is no chance to see the victim. May I see you and apologize?” I sent a text message to the parents. In front of the front door of the house, I left a gift basket of cookies. This mother said, “As soon as I saw the basket, Chi trembled, and the mothers who saw the picture together were resentful.”

Mr. A and others were accused of abusing 10 students aged 1 to 6, including children with disabilities, at a public daycare center in Seo-gu, Incheon from November to December last year. In December of last year, the mother of a victim reported to the police that her son had been abused. As a result of analyzing the video of the closed circuit (CC) TV for the last two months of the daycare center, the police found the situation that all six nursery teachers were involved in the abuse. Two suspected abuses, including Mr. A, were 50 to 100 times each. More than 50 cases of suspected abuse by other child care teachers were also found. The police applied for a warrant for arrest in advance to Mr. A, who had all six nursery teachers and a director, including Mr. A, who had severe abuse.
