The Financial Supervisory Service announced on the 3rd that it will start sending a complaint reply and voice phishing notifications through KakaoTalk messenger from the next day.
If you want to use the civil service service through KakaoTalk, the complainant can select’Electronic Notification’ as the method of replying to the result of processing when applying for a civil complaint.
If the complaint reply sent to KakaoTalk is not viewed for 24 hours, it will be resent by registered mail (in writing).
There are six voice phishing notices that can be received through KakaoTalk messenger: a notice of the commencement of the bond extinguishing procedure, a notice of the expiration of bonds, a notice of designation of persons subject to restriction of electronic financial transactions, notice of cancellation of designation persons subject to restriction of electronic financial transactions, and a notice of decision on damage refund.
If this is not read for 24 hours, it will be sent in writing by registered or regular mail.
In order to stabilize the voice phishing notice at the beginning of the implementation, written and mobile notices will be concurrently provided for the time being, and mobile notices will be implemented in earnest from the 1st of next month.
However, it is necessary to issue a certificate from Kakao Pay because it requires a self-authentication procedure to read electronic documents.
The Financial Supervisory Service said, “Anytime, anywhere, you can check civil complaints newspapers through your mobile phone, which will increase your access and convenience,” he said. “By returning registered mail, you can relieve the inconvenience that you cannot receive in time.”
