French Foreign Minister Jean Yves Ledrien, 74, enters self-quarantine after contacting a family member who tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19).
On the 11th (local time), Reuters reported that Minister Ledrian was negative in the Corona 19 test that day, but that there will be self-quarantine until the 17th, as there was contact with a family who tested positive.
Minister Ledrian will undergo a second Corona 19 test on the 17th, a week after contact with the family, Reuters said.
Minister Ledrian, the second-ranked French cabinet minister, held meetings with officials in the Middle East, including Germany, Jordan, and Egypt, and met with US Climate Envoy John Kerry on the afternoon of the 10th to hold bilateral talks.
