However, among foreigners, there is a voice that this executive order measure is’discriminatory’ when compared to the case of Koreans who identify test subjects based on the risk of transmission of infection. British Embassy Counselor Graham Nelson said, “Many foreigners are expressing concern in the movement of requiring only foreigners to be prosecutors in Gyeonggi-do, Seoul and other regions.” “We should target the working environment where corona spreads easily.”

The politics also pointed out that the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s administrative order is discriminatory. Lee Sang-min, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, criticized the previous day on his Facebook page as “an act of unfair racial discrimination against foreigners, an act of human rights violations that can lead to international embarrassment.”
