The primary targets for the AstraZeneca vaccine starting on the 26th are residents and workers under the age of 65 in nursing hospitals and nursing facilities.
The government received prior application before vaccination, and it was found that 93.6% of the 308,000 subjects, or 289,000, agreed to vaccination.
In the case of nursing hospitals, 90% of patients and 94% of workers, including medical staff, applied, and nursing facilities exceeded 95% of both residents and workers.
More than 94% of the Corona 19 medical staff, who will be the first to receive the Pfizer vaccine, which will arrive as early as the end of this month, also agreed.

The vaccination method differs by institution. Nursing hospitals receive the vaccine and the hospital’s medical staff self-inoculate within five days, and the nursing facility is visited by the health center medical staff by the end of the following month to receive the vaccination, or the subject visits the public health center to get the vaccine.
It is a principle that those who have not applied in advance should be eligible after November, when all national vaccinations are finished, but if the relevant institution applies again while vaccination is in progress, additional vaccinations may be performed using the remaining amount of the vaccine.
The quarantine authorities said they did not investigate the reasons for refusal.
The government plans to complete the first dose of both AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines by next month.
