The quarantine authorities are tense with the first infection of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) mutant virus in Gyeongbuk.
According to North Gyeongsang Province on the 1st, A, a woman in her 30s, who arrived at Incheon Airport from Dubai on the 12th of last month, was tested at the Gumi Health Center and was found positive on the 14th, and received treatment at the Life Therapy Center.
Mr. A received a notification from the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on the 27th of the same month that he was infected with a mutant virus originating from the Republic of South Africa.
It was confirmed that there were no additional cases of infection at the life treatment center where Mr. A was being treated, and all of the patients are discharged from the hospital.
This life treatment center has been closed since the 15th of last month.
The quarantine authorities believe that A has no additional contact, but on the 29th, A’s mother visited the hospital for hospitalization and was confirmed to Corona 19 in a test that was received and is investigating the connection.
It is known that the confirmation of the mutant virus of Mr. A’s mother can be known earlier this month, and all 13 residents who contacted him were tested negative and are in self-isolation.
