Shin Min-joon (22), who reached the top of the major world championships for the first time since his debut as a professional knight, showed a willingness to continue the’winning hunt’.

On the 4th, Min-Jun Shin defeated Korze 9 Dan in the 3rd country in the 3rd round of the 25th LG Cup Chosun Ilbo’s previous match held online in Seoul, Korea and Beijing, China on the 4th. He said, “I will try to win the world championship again.”

Shin Min-joon, who won the championship after playing more than 300 battles over 7 hours with China’s No. 1 player Kerze, said, “I’m much more nervous than in the first and second countries in the finals, but I’m so happy that I won the first major world championship.”

Ahead of this LG Cup final, most experts expected Kerze’s dominance.

In particular, Shin Min-jun suffered a terrible slump since last December.

Regarding this, Shin Min-jun said, “When I fell into a slump, I was lost as if I would lose everything with anyone.”

He explained, “However, because I was facing an important final, I decided to try to avoid the psychological burden as much as possible.”

Shin Min-jun said, “Because Keze likes Silly, (I also) focused on the beginning of the game differently from usual,” said Shin Min-joon, who said he had focused on studying the pavement ahead of the finals.

Regarding the content of the game on this day, he said, “It seems that there has been no disadvantage since the beginning,” and “I was sure of victory when the last hand was resolved.”

Shin Min-joon lost the first country in the 3rd final, and then the 2nd and 3rd countries unilaterally won, but he was never proud.

“It’s not an article that I can evaluate (yet),” he said about Kerze, and said, “I was lucky to win this final by putting it well above my skills, but I still feel that I am lacking a lot.”

He also said, “It seems like a miracle happened because the fans supported me a lot,” and “I will try to win the world championship again.”

On the other hand, Kerze, who was reported to shed tears after a shocking reversal defeat, said through the Chinese origin, “Today, the opponent played too well,” and “The more I left it, the more I felt that I was losing. There seems to be a problem with my Go.”

He also said, “This is the first time I have won the 1st country and I will do my best in the future. I congratulate Minjun Shin’s first (major) world championship.” Union
