According to the National Institute of Environmental Sciences Air Quality Integrated Forecast Center, the concentration of fine dust on this day is expected to be’bad’ in the metropolitan area, Gangwon-yeongseo, Chungcheong area, Honam area, Daegu, Ulsan, and Gyeongbuk, and’medium’ in other areas. The metropolitan area and Chungnam temporarily soar to the level of’very bad’ in the morning.

As of 0 o’clock on this day, the concentration of fine dust in Seoul is 93㎍/㎥, Gyeonggi 109㎍/㎥, Incheon 111㎍/㎥, Chungnam 113㎍/㎥, and Sejong 83㎍/㎥, all at bad levels.

It is expected that the fine dust generated the day before remains in the atmosphere and the concentration of fine dust generated in Korea will accumulate as the atmosphere continues.

On the 14th, fine dust was predicted as’bad’ in the metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong area, Gwangju, Jeonbuk, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk areas, and as’normal’ for other areas.

The ultrafine dust is also expected to remain at the’high’ level until the 15th. The Korea Environment Corporation issued an ultrafine dust advisory in the Seoul area from 9 pm on the 12th. As of 9 pm, the average concentration of ultra-fine dust warning per hour is 83㎍/㎥.

On the 13th, in the metropolitan area, Chungcheong area, Gwangju, Jeonbuk, Busan, Daegu, Ulsan, and Gyeongbuk, the level was’high’, and on the 14th, the metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong area, Gwangju, Jeonbuk, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, 15th Chungcheong area, Jeonbuk, Daegu, Gyeongbuk It was predicted as’high’.

Children, the elderly, people with lung disease or heart disease should only do indoor activities as much as possible when the fine dust is in the very bad stage, and it is better to avoid long or excessive outdoor activities in the bad stage.
