While Sujin, a member of the group (female) Idle, who was accused of being a school violence perpetrator, met A in person, who claimed the damage, controversy arose as the contents of the conversation Sujin had with Mr. A spread.
Yesterday (11th), a media reported that A and his family, who were victims of school violence by Sujin, met Sujin and had a conversation for an hour. Reportedly, Sujin responded “I can’t remember” to Mr. A, who tells the story of the abuse, and held the position that there was no fact of the violence in school.
Although Mr. A explained the past situation in detail, Sujin’s answer remained unchanged, and it was reported that Sujin repeatedly emphasized to Mr. A, “If this would be the case, why did you ask me to meet me?” In response, Mr. A’s older sister said, “The victim’s younger brother took great courage to meet the perpetrator in person, but there was no harvest. It was an unexpected attitude,” and said, “I will think about the next method with other victims.”
After the report, Mr. A’s older sister revealed her later story with Sujin through a live SNS broadcast. According to the broadcast content, Sujin said, “I read the article you wrote many times and I can’t remember. It’s hard for me to apologize for not remembering.” He denied the abuse. In response, Mr. A’s older sister said, “So far, Sujin has been criticized a lot and was just trying to get an apology, but when I talked, that thought disappeared.”
Last month, Mr. A revealed through an online community about school violence against Sujin. Then Sujin’s school uniform, padding, and money were stolen and victims claimed to have been bullied, but Sujin denied the allegation, saying, “I was a prominent child, but I didn’t do that.” Eventually, Sujin’s management company Cube Entertainment announced the news of Sujin’s suspension of activities, and announced the official position that “(girls) children will be active as a 5-member system excluding Sujin for the time being.”
