In the video, there was a scene where Mr. Byeon attended the U.S. college admissions briefing held at the Grand Theater of the Art Center of Chung-Ang University in 2012 and explained his experience of college admission.

He said, “I worked as an intern for the’Inca Civilization Exhibition’ held at the National Museum of Korea (in high school), translating materials in Spanish or English during the summer. “I think doing it has had a pretty big impact on making you stand out.”

Rep. Chung Dong-man, who first raised the suspicion, pointed out that Byeon, a high school student at the time, was not eligible for an internship at the National Museum of Korea. According to the National Museum of Korea recruitment announcement at the time, only one intern was hired to prepare for the’Inca Civilization Exhibition’, and the qualifications for the examination were also those with a bachelor’s degree or higher.

Candidate Byun said, “My daughter has been interested in history since middle school, and in 2009, when she was in her second year of high school, she did a career exploration interview with the person in charge of the National Museum of Korea. “It’s done.”

In addition, he said, “I participated in the preparation of the exhibition by translating in Spanish as a short-term volunteer activity, not an intern.” Explained.
