Even if suspicion of sexual harassment continues… Half of New Yorkers “No Need to Retire Cuomo”

According to this, 50% of respondents said that Governor Cuomo should not resign immediately. 35% of respondents said they had to resign.

35% of respondents believed that Governor Cuomo may have committed sexual harassment, more than 24% of respondents who thought not. 41% said they were not sure.

In addition, 57% of respondents said they were satisfied with the response of Governor Cuomo, who strongly confronted allegations of sexual harassment. Governor Cuomo has refused to resign, asking for the results of the investigation. At a press conference on the 3rd, he explained that his behavior was habitual and he was not trying to offend anyone.

Opinions diverged widely depending on the party they supported. “Nearly two-thirds of Republican supporters said that Governor Cuomo should step down, but 61% of Democratic supporters said not.”

To date, at least six women, including former aides, secretaries, and the public, have been exposed to sexual harassment or sexual harassment by Governor Cuomo. The legislature as well as the federal lawmakers in New York State are fiercely demanding Governor Cuomo resign. Impeachment movements are also taking place.
